"I have had this racquet now for 6 months. I had many different racquets but the Avery is the best one that I have ever had. It's very arm and shoulder friendly. It also has good power and control. I am 4+ player and I play about 3-4 times a week."

"Heavier racquets are more comfortable to use and easier on the body. I chose the M3 because it's greater weight acts as a shock absorber, lessening the stress on my wrist, arm and elbow. I also have found that the heavier racquets reduce torque. Both advantages improve ball control. The headlight balance made the M3 very maneuverable and I did not sustain any loss of racquet head speed. I fully endorse the M3 racquet, when playing I cannot tell where my hand ends and the racquet begins."

"The M3 AVERY racquet is probably one of the best racquets that I have ever had the opportunity of playing with. The M3 has a good combination of control and power, and since I favor the net game it has great handling with the volleys. The M3 has definitely been a racquet worth playing with."

"Three cheers for the best racquet ever!! Avery is the #1 racquet for me because after all the racquets I've ever tried it is the best. The racquet has the perfect weight for top power, equal balance so one side of the racquet isn't heaver then the other, and it has spunky colors that I love. You can't resist Avery racquets when you have a go with one. Trust me I know. I fell in love with the best racquet ever!!"

"The Avery M3 Control racquet provided me with the perfect balance and control that I had been looking for. The racket provides excellent control on my groundstrokes while still providing good pop on my serve. When I first picked up the racket, I was skeptical, but the racket turned out to be a much better performer than I had ever expected!"

"The M3 Power AVERY tennis racket is outstanding. It has a sleek and very maneuverable frame with a healthy balance between power, control and feel. The racket has a perfect weight that does not detract from the aforementioned maneuverability; but rather it allows one to easily control the frame to the desired contact point. I am always leery that rackets with a "player's racket" design will have unreasonable sweet spots that can be far too demanding for any level of player; however, this racket proved to be extremely forgiving in that regard. The Avery M3 Power is also an excellent serving racket, as well as a great way for one to stand out on the tennis court with its unique paintjob."

"I tried the M3 Power after I was consistently disappointed with other big-name "player's racquets". I was constantly experimenting with lead tape to try to find that perfect balance of power and control. When I first tried the M3 Power, I knew that my lead tape experimentation was over. This racquet combines a hefty mass with a head-light balance to make this racquet the most solid feeling racquet I have ever hit with. The feel of the 100% graphite composition cannot be beaten. If you are a relatively accomplished player who is looking for that perfect racquet, give the M3 Power a try."

"Being over 50 and an empty-nester, the agony of reality is fortunately accompanied with the opportunity of freedom! That is, the freedom to indulge in my obsession and passion; playing tennis. As a 3.5 club player, my game is aggressive and demanding. With the increase in intensity, however, comes the increase in wear and tear on the joints....especially the elbow. Using the Avery M5 racquet helped relieve the ache in my elbow. After reading Tom Avery's reasons for using the M5 racquet with its heavier head instead of the lighter racquets, I decided to demo his line and see for myself if it was everything he said it was and would be. It was . I loved it! My serves improved, my volleys improved and I moved from a 3.0 to a 3.5. I truly love this racquet. I've bought three of them and plan to continue playing with them. My tennis partner has even decided to purchase an M5 after playing with mine! I hope to attend one of his workshops in beautiful Naples this year, for fun and instruction! Avery racquets deliver quality performance and Tom Avery makes sure they do. Ladies, you can't ask for more!"

"A great racquet that is very solid with no vibration. I can really pound the ball, especially with the Avery High Voltage String. Great for groundstrokes and serving. Talk about added pop, that's an under statement. Volleys are solid and the bigger headsize gives me an edge in doubles - especially in heated exchanges. I have used all the major brands and this racquet is much more solid. The other ones feel like tooth picks compared to this one. Give it a try and you will not be disappointed."

I'm glad to say that since playing with the Avery M5 I've definitely seen improvement. So there is some method to Tom Avery's madness. I find it very easy to get depth and control. "The M3 Power is a breath of fresh air. So many of today's modern rackets are becoming lighter and less powerful. The M3 Power has kept what has proven to work so well in the hands of the most critical customers, the playing pros. As advertising dollars are spent to attract more recreational players most of today's rackets miss the target of what's important, racket head speed and spin of the ball. With a 16x19 string pattern this optimizes spin compared to 18-20 designs, the balance and overall weight is recognized only by those who really know the game. I think Tom Avery hit this one out of the park!"

"I searched one of the online racquet finders to get replacement ideas for my Yonex RDS-001 and the Avery racquets came up. I researched the Avery line and saw only one negative review out of the hundred I found...I was very curious as to why these racquets weren't more main stream with all the positive feedback from every level of the playing public. Since I was on the hunt for an equipment sponsor for 2009 I sent Avery Tennis my info and the next morning Tom himself called me to offer a sponsored player package! I have about 6 hours (over two days!) into my new M3 Control racquets and already feel so confident that I'm taking them cold turkey into my first tournament of the year this coming weekend. "I feel like the Avery M5 racquet has opened a new door for me. I have searched for years for a racquet that would be "elbow-friendly", so to speak, and I am now sure that the M5 is the one! After playing with an M5 demo for only a couple of weeks, I bought one, and I haven't been disappointed in its performance. I have found that the relatively heavy racquet head absorbs the shock and vibration that one normally experiences in the contact zone, and the weight of the racquet enhances its stability. The importance of following through completely and correctly on our strokes is something that many of us think about a lot, but the Avery M5 makes this occur almost automatically due to its inherent weight and stability. I realize that most players feel that achieving power and control simultaneously can be a challenge for a club player to achieve, but I feel that by using the M5 racquet you have one of the best chances to do this! With relatively little effort and good stroke mechanics, I am able to hit deep into the opposite court, and I am rewarded (most of the time!) with that sound of a well-hit ball that all of us tennis fans love to hear! What is wonderful is that my elbow doesn't hurt, even after many hours on the court! I highly recommend the M5!"

I have been playing tennis for most of my life. In high school and most of my adult life I used a heavier “players” racquet. About a year ago I followed the market and changed to a lighter racquet, not realizing the consequences of the dramatic change (13.2oz down to 10.2 oz). After a couple of months my wrist, elbow and shoulder began to hurt.Doing some research led me to the “AVERY” website. I called Avery racquets and the following day Tom Avery himself returned the call. After he answered about 50 questions I decided to give the M3 Power a try. I had almost immediate results in both comfort and play. My injuries were totally gone within a month, and my partner and I won 7 straight matches (we only lost one set during that time). With the added confidence I have began playing singles again (first time in about 2 years), and I won my first flex league match this past week. I am sold on the Avery brand and hope to be associated with Tom and his racquets for a long time to come. I help a local pro with junior and beginner lessons and I try my best to convince the young kids to stay away from the lighter racquets. They don’t realize that most of the pros have there sticks custom made, and they are usually significantly heavier than the “floor model” of the same racquet. Tom, thank you so much for your help and for all you do for tennis.

"Any player out there who has been desiring more depth, but has been frustrated by seeing their whipped ground strokes regularly falling short into their opponent's court, should give the Avery M3 Control racquets a try. The increased heft of the 12.2 ounce Avery racquet, the weight of which you can adjust to your precise liking with a little lead tape, adds an extra two to three feet on your groundies for the same amount of effort. For those players who play a lot of doubles or like to volley in singles, the Avery M3 Control's solid feel on contact results in penetrating volleys and the frame's relative flexibility compared to stiffer racquets provides feel and touch. The headlight balance allows for maneuverability. The frame's heft and stable crossbar design in the throat area result in the incoming ball regularly getting the worse end of the collision; not your racquet face or arm joints. Take an Avery M3 Control out for a spin! You'll like what you experience."

"Tom, I am a 72 year old tennis enthusiast.  My home town is Lusby, Maryland.  I play "club" tennis in Naples in the winter and at The Island Country Club, Deer Isle, Maine in the summer.  I am currently men's member doubles and member mixed doubles club champion at each club.  In Maryland during the shoulder seasons, I play two or three Super Senior tournaments each year and am currently ranked #3 in the 70s singles bracket in Maryland.  Adam has rated me as a 3.5.  I had been playing with a very light Wilson 2.0 racket for some years thinking that because of age I needed a lighter racket.  Then I tried your Avery racket.  I found that I had as much  or more control with your racket, significantly more power in both ground strokes and serve.  I also have noticed a much different "ping" sound on making a good connection.  Finally, although I am not sure I can attribute a less painful shoulder solely to the Avery, I really believe that this heavier racket does somehow lessen a cronic issue with me and that is of severe right shoulder pain after a hard workout.  In fact after a Super Seniors tournament in early October 2010, using the old racket and which resulted in severe shoulder pain, I did not try another serve intil late December.  I am the proud owner of three Avery rackets."

When I found TomAvery.com online about one year ago, I had a very weak forehand and backhand, and a service toss that went everywhere, except where I wanted it. My volleys were not as crisp as I wanted them to be. After I bought the M5 Avery racket and the training videos, I started steadily improving. Now I'm happy with the improvements I've made in all of my strokes. I love my M5 racket and plan to buy a second one before my next tournament. It has helped me gain more control and especially the much needed power.I still have a lot of improvements to make, but for the first time I have confidence that I can progress to the 4.0 level. I asked Tom to design an intensive three-day individual workshop to improve my game. I am a 3.0-3.5 and these three days with Tom have provided me with better and concrete tools that helped me play better. I have learned to recognize mistakes and, more importantly, the direct cure. I have come to this workshop in Naples, FL from Miami, FL and it was completely worth it. I plan to make it a regular habit 3-4 times per year. Also, my Avery 95 Power feels solid and stable. It helps you a great deal if you are suffering from "tennis elbow". I would not use any other racquet.
